Deborah learned to paint in oils in her teens under tutelage of a neighbor and family friend.  Life got in the way of pursuing her art until 2005, forty three years later.
 
"I love many styles of painting from representational to impressionistic and have challenged myself to learn several styles.  My inspiration comes from a myriad of sources as well as nature itself with its radiant and subtle colors.  I often photograph natural scenes, animals, and beautiful sunsets and attempt to recreate them in oil."
